Any personal data collected by the office of Humza Yousaf MSP is processed under the requirements of the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (the GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018 (the DPA).

The office of Humza Yousaf MSP will process data only to the extent necessary in order to perform the duties of an MSP. Any personal information you share with Humza Yousaf MSP or his office will be kept confidential. It will only be shared when it is needed to pursue your case with other organisations or individuals. Humza and his staff will try to explain what actions they are taking that involve your information and will try to keep you updated throughout.

When your case is complete and it is clear that there is no further need for your information to be kept by us it will be deleted within a maximum of 12 months.

If you ask us to stop using your information we will do so unless there are compelling or legal reasons that we cannot stop.
